Hello! I am 21 years old and have really started to focus on my finances this year. I figured the next step would be securing another credit card to really maximize my spending. I’m torn between getting cash back or building points for travel. Would love some advice!
My singular current credit card is BoFA Customized Visa currently 3% on Gas 2% on Grocery and 1% on everything else. The card is 1 year and 8 months with a limit of $1500
FICO score is 761
Annual income is $50k
Current spending Dining $250-400
Groceries Publix $600-800
Gas Exxon $200-250
I graduate college this Sunday and currently have no plans for travel for this year. With my career ahead of me, I really want to get out and travel in the coming years. Didn’t know if it would be wise to get ahead. I’ve been looking at the Robin Hood Gold Card (I do use Robinhood for my personal investments), Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the AMEX Blue Cash Card. Let me know if I should just keep at it or if it’s worth exploring. Thanks!!
My next pick! 21 years old and wanting to grow!
