Currently have a quicksilver from Capitol One, no annual fees, 1.5% flat cashback, $500 limit. I’m planning to stick with it for a bit. Eventually I’ll try to get it changed over to the savor card and get some CLI’s and just use it for my streaming service subscriptions and dining.
I would like recommendations for a credit card in the visa network for high acceptance everywhere. I’m looking for 2% cash back flat, or anything better. It has to be a visa, and I’d be more comfortable going with a bank with excellent customer service. Probably wont be applying for it for another 8-12 months though.
I considered the “fidelity” rewards visa credit card, but I’ve read it’s actually from a separate financial institutions. What would be a good card to look at in the future? Should I just stick to capitol one and build my credit?

Main spends are gas & groceries, and car lease payment + insurance. Sadly lease provider doesn’t support credit cards or debit, only direct transfers from bank.
Fidelity visa is still one of the best no annual fee catch all cards.
Don’t change it into a Venture. Venture has a 75,000 points sign up bonus, bare minimum $750 value, and it gets elevated SUB offers for $1,000 value. Product changing forfeits the SUB. Just let the Quicksilver be, it is being buffed in the near future with 3% groceries and gas categories.
For a flat 2% Visa Signature catch-all there’s the Wells Fargo Active Cash, Fidelity Rewards, PNC Cash Unlimited, TD Double Up, Navy Federal cashRewards+, PenFed Power Cash, BCU Cash Rewards, SDFCU Premium Cashback+, and various miscellaneous others that are less notable like US Bank Smartly or Capital One T-Mobile.
Fidelity Rewards is indeed not issued by Fidelity but rather by Elan Financial, a subdivision of US Bank. If excellent customer service is a high priority for you, US Bank is honestly iffy on that (would put them on Citi’s tier) and the Navy Federal cashRewards+ wins here by a wide margin. If you don’t qualify for that, I would personally vouch for WF Active Cash treating me well over the years, and I have heard positive stuff about BCU. But tbqh the Fidelity card still works well enough for a lot of people
