Ive been using wells fargo as my primary checking account since i’ve been teen, 4 years, And ive recently started using credit unions ex: for my car, savings, and barely opened checkings with capital one. I still use wells fargo for my checkings only because i’ve been with them for a while and my direct deposit but what benefit do i get choosing that bank over my capital one which provides me with an apy. Is it worth to just close out the wells fargo account and fully switch over to my capital one?

The slogan in the CU industry is “Banks are for businesses, credit unions are for people.”
But Wells Fargo and Capital One are both banks. And both have some big black marks on their reputations.
