I’m 17, working on a barge and making around €1950/month and another job on the side. I just got my driver’s license and I’m still in school (inland shipping).
Right now I’m saving and investing, and trying to stay disciplined.
My long term plan is to move into HVAC after school and eventually get into real estate, so inland shipping is more of a temporary phase for me.
I don’t expect things to happen fast, but I do want to build something real over time.
For people who are further ahead:
What would you focus on at my age?
17 with steady income, saving & investing what would you do in my position?

Study hard, work hard, take risks, and gain experience. Continue to be slow & disciplined when it comes to saving & investing.
