My husband and I are trying to get rid of his old home. It's on a busy street in a bad neighborhood and it needs a fair amount of work. It also has a very undesirable floor plan and is rather small. It hasn't been well maintained interior or exterior. We live out of the area and are unwilling to put any effort into getting a good price. I'm leaning hard towards unloading it to a cash buyer realizing that it would be less than market value, just for the convenience of it. I'd like to know what y'all think of that as opposed to turning it over to an agent to sell as is. And by as is I mean no cleaning, no painting, no nothing. Thoughts? Any recommendations as to a reputable company? Portland, Oregon area.
80yo home, needs work. Agent or "ugly home" cash offer?

Find out the market value before you decide
An agent has access to resources you don’t, plus someone in the area will know what to do in the market. They can find good buyers and help you get you the best price you can. Do with that info what you will
