Concerns grow as high oil prices drive up cost of jet fuel

    There are growing concerns about the elevated price of oil as it further drives up the cost of jet fuel. It comes as Spirit Airlines acknowledged that rising jet fuel prices contributed to its shutdown. NBC News’ Allie Canal reports.

    1. why is there NOTHING on this interview about the price worldwide, in europe for oil. there is NOTHING about it. the american households are going to be SHOCKED. all news acts as if the iran war conclusion is imminent, that there are no costs/timeline about repairing facilities, that supply<demand worldwide. everyone acts like they want to pin it on the oil companies. the problem is SUPPLY, that oil prices were less than breakeven for a few years, that oil investments were not paying. only 50% of the oil is used for transportation. oil is used for machines, industrial inputs. and with the media not telling the whole story, household consumers will be SHOCKED.

    2. And in other news it is planting season across Asia and farmers don't have fertilizer and fuel due to the closing of the Strait of Hormuz. Food shortages, famine, and refugee crisis expected.
