Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to Bitcoin and wanted to share what actually worked for me in case it helps someone else starting out.

A couple things I learned the hard way:

    1. Fees can vary a LOT depending on the platform

    2. Verification can take longer than expected, so don’t wait until the last minute

    3. It’s worth double-checking withdrawal fees if you plan to move your BTC later

What helped me most was just picking a simple platform and sticking with small amounts at first until I understood what I was doing.

If you’re looking for one, I’ve been using Ember, and it’s been pretty straightforward so far. They’ve got a referral program that gives a small bonus when you sign up, I can share my code if anyone wants it.

Curious what others here used when starting out.
