I’m getting unsolicited, deceptive texts from a company in Texas called CooperZadeh Management. The texts say I inquired about a house in Anna (I most certainly didn’t), and they provide a link to their regional inquiry. I’ve seen this strategy before in other industries like pressure washing services; it’s deception rather than (or in addition to) incompetence. Are these deceptive texts acceptable in the realty world? If not, who do I report them to?

Just reply with stop. If not, block them.
No, that’s shady as hell and definitely not normal — I’d block/report the number, keep screenshots, and file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission if they’re actually licensed agents. If it keeps happening, I’d also report the spam to your carrier; I’ve been using Offa to find off-market deals and the legit ones are way better about direct, transparent outreach.
Before you freak out too much, lots of people put down a fake number on those forms when people ask for a number, I occasionally get that when I reply to people from open houses to make sure they got the disclosures.
Maybe ask them to stop before you go nuclear
Ignore them and block the number.
