I’m in California and shopping around again, and I’ve realised I’m paying way more attention now to how easy an insurer is to deal with, not just the monthly number.

A slightly lower premium is nice, sure, but if the app is bad, the documents are annoying to access, or every small thing feels like a process, it starts to matter more than I expected. Maybe I’m getting less patient, or it's just my age, I don’t know. Curious what other California drivers are prioritising right now. Are you mainly chasing the best rate, or are you putting more value on convenience and overall experience too?

California drivers: do you choose car insurance mostly on price now or how easy it is to use?
