Backend dev looking to get into crypto

hello guys, I'm a software engineer with around 10 years of exp – mostly fintech, highload and EU tax compliance, kyc, kyb topics. Also possess basic sre/devops skills good enough to manage a small startup infra.

I am willing to get into crypto development and don't know how to begin.

I am not looking for a quick money route – rather a "my pace" small project. If it will get some monetization – good, not – also ok, as long as it's interesting.
