Why do some communities spend so much time talking about Bitcoin…even when they’re not into Bitcoin?

Not trying to stir anything up — I’m actually curious what the psychology is there.

The longer I’m around, the more it feels like:

    Bitcoiners ignore everything else…

while everything else can’t ignore Bitcoin.

    What am I missing?

is Bitcoin the asset… or the main character?

Some people are motivated by the idea of expanding their fiat dollar denominated amount, while bitcoiners understand that isn’t the end-game, it’s about expanding your freedom and self-sovereignty

Some people love to talk about the wind, some just stack sats and let Bitcoin to do what it does best. I hope these talkers will have plenty of fun.

Two sides of the coin. Everything is on one side, BTC is on the other side. Now do the division and find out BTCs value.

      Add to this:
USA GDP is 325 million and USAs debt is 435 million.

Honestly feels like Bitcoin is both.

Some people treat it like just another asset, but others see it as the foundation everything else is built on. That’s why the conversations around it feel bigger than just price.

I’ve seen similar takes here before, like people saying its value comes more from scarcity and trust than just being convertible to fiat.

If you’re trying to actually understand that deeper side (not just charts), the Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) is pretty solid for breaking down how Bitcoin works beyond the hype.
