I submitted the pre-approval form, but I didn't include my husband's income. I got denied for preapproval. It won't let me fill out the form again now, and I don't want to just go and apply with a likely denial.
The reason for denial was income. I make $71k and my husband makes about $55k, but I didn't include his. "Based on your credit report from one or more of the agencies on the back of this letter, income is insufficient"
How long do I have to wait before I can use the pre-approval tool again from Capital One? Do I even have a chance of being approved for the Venture X?

It refreshes daily, so just wait a bit.
Wait like 30-60 days before trying the pre-approval tool again, most banks have cooling off periods. But next time make sure you include household income if you’re married – that extra 55k would definitely help your case
The Venture X has pretty high income requirements so with combined 126k you should have much better shot than just the 71k alone
