Travel Insurance and Quarantine?

Hi, r/insurance. I am curious about how insurance might help out passengers on the Hantavirus cruise who are now expected to be quarantined for two months. As I understand it, this was an expensive trip, so I imagine the passengers bought travel insurance. Would those policies offer these people much help in their situation? Is this more a matter of supplemental/critical illness insurance? Or is this a bad luck scenario where they just have to make it work on themselves?
