This is my first time posting on Reddit but I have no idea what to do. So my friend and I were involved in an accident, she was driving and ended up hitting a ramp wall. I was the only one injured (just a bruised nose and busted lip).
I went to the hospital to get checked out because my elbow was hurting me a little along with my head. (wasn’t til after I was told I should’ve gone to the urgent care instead but didn’t know that 🤦🏽♀️

And I got the bill back and it’s $2k leftover after my health insurance covered the rest. However I asked my friend who was driving if she filed a claim and she did, but insurance has not gotten back to her and she only has Texas liability. What should I do??

You can make a claim on her policy for your medical bills and pain and suffering. And your health insurance company is going to do the same thing to get their money back. Get her policy information and call them or go online to make your claim. Don’t sign anything the insurance company asks you to sign unless you completely understand it.
