Like clockwork, it seems to be just more lies again. Reports are that ships are still being turned around in the strait, despite the apparent “deal”.
National gas prices jumped 5 cents today in the US even though oil prices crashed hard on the “deal” news. We are over $4.50 a gallon now. Trump has until the end of the month (at absolute most, probably less than a couple weeks at this rate) before the national gas prices surpase what they were under Biden in 2022 and hit all time highs – so clearly the market manipulation from his fake deal announcements are not stopping physical reality, as desperate as Trump is for it to do so.
Wonder if he’s going to try something even more desperate or make extreme concessions in the next couple weeks to Iran to open the strait before gas hits past the Biden highs, because that would be a major embarrassment for him and fuck his ego hard, which is the only thing that matters, or will he just ride it out? What do you think destroys his ego more, that, or going home with his tail between his legs without anything to show for a clearly failed war? What would he prefer?
Either way, those are the only real options he has left it seems like. And as fucked as this whole situation is, it’s pretty amusing to watch him squirm like this at the very least, lol.

All of this and in the end this one page memorandum sounds like its just getting us back to where we were before this started: a partial nuclear slowdown, Iran retains the enriched uranium, a bigger payoff in frozen assets in the billions instead of millions like last time oh and the straight maybe free and open for the time being but easily shutdown by the regime any time they want something in the future now that they got to prove how effective it is as a bargaining chip.

Even an opened strait will be greatly reduced in number of transits and cost of transit. Who is clearing mines? Who is insuring these vessels and at what rates? How much is Iran going to charge for safe passage? What guarantee is there that Israel/USA don’t launch further strikes?
