    What’s with the XRP shilling?

    My boomer dad constantly sends me facebook posts about XRP. It's always something along the lines of "Trump signs executive order for XRP=$100/per token by end of the year." He then asks me if I can invest $10 for him into the coin. Wtf is with these posts? Do people seriously believe this nonsense? Is it just a meme at this point? I am concerned that he's going to get fleeced of his money some day to a bogus crypto scam. He's 67 years old and believes the earth is flat, but that's another discussion.

      I have also noticed a conspicuous flood of planted news stories or what look to be fake shilling websites that kinda look like news all flogging XRP. Especially on my Chrome phone browser home page.

      XRP is the coin of the establishment. The establishment has money to push propaganda in their favor. Therefore, XRP gets a bunch of attention and shilling paid for by the elites

      It will probably get some good returns, but its against the very spirit of crypto. I have no interest in supporting ripple. Buy and hodl BTC

      Honestly the shilling has been going on for so many years now I think it’s deliberately to get people off of the token. I like XRP and think it’s going to be worth a lot more but it’s going to take time.

      I do think if it captures massive volume through cross border payments and tokenization double digit prices are doable by 2030, and with more growth triple digits by 2040.

      Obviously nothing is guaranteed and the shilling is annoying AF. But the potential and set up it currently has is undeniable and something to look into at the least.

      If you replace the P with an M and move it to the middle you might have something worth buying.

      XRP has always been a red flag for me, particularly because of the people I see who are bullish on it 😬 good luck with that blood bath folks

      I’m a crypto-specialized CPA and I’ve gotten to the point where I can predict whether a potential client is a big XRP holder based the conversation. You’ll never find someone more optimistic. Zero doubt that it’s going to the moon. 😅

      He literally just joined a team to root for. Look at it as “his team” and it’ll make more sense.
