The answer is probably both, in my opinion since AI undoubtedly reduces barriers by facilitating access to data and analysis.
Many tasks that previously required expensive tools or experience can now be automated in a matter of seconds. However, it also introduces a new level of complexity.
You still need to decipher what the AI is saying, recognize its limitations, and determine how to respond when conflicting signals are present. Making decisions instead of gathering information becomes half the battle. Because of this, usability and structure are now more important. I've seen some early references to a system called Sertexity that purports to solve every trading problem instead of merely producing more signals.
I'm not sure how far along it is, but the idea seems to be moving in the right direction. AI probably needs to make decisions easier rather than just produce more data if it is to make trading more accessible.
I've seen consistent results since I started using it. No more emotional trades, no more FOMO, and no more watching the screen all day. The AI works 24/7 across multiple exchanges, catching opportunities most humans would miss.
If you're tired of the traditional ways of trading like learning charts for months then maybe profit route, this might be the shortcut you've been looking for.

I think AI lowers the cost of collecting signals, but it does not remove the harder part: deciding which signals deserve trust when they disagree.
In crypto, more automation can actually make the surface look cleaner while hiding more assumptions underneath. If an AI system says a setup is strong, I still want to know what supported that read, what weakened it, what data was missing, and what would make the read invalid.
The useful direction is probably not “AI finds trades for you.” It is “AI makes the reasoning easier to inspect.”
