Currently a student going into my third year. Im taking a spring travel course that starts exactly a month from now and school last minute said they wouldnt be able to cover certain expenses/tuition as they previously did. I need a relatively small amount of money (<$2000) but don’t have enough time to make it before the trip. Should i take out a private student loan or will that not work for anything beyond tuition?

Is a family member loaning you the money a possibility? I am assuming you are responsible, honest, and will pay them back in a timely manner. Avoiding private loans is my personal opinion.
