Does Amex Gold AND CO Duo ever make sense?

I’ve searched through the sub and see a lot of discussions about doing an Amex setup or doing the CO Duo or going GOLD+VX or the like. My question is do you think there’s ever a situation where it would make sense to do the Amex Gold in conjunction with the CO Duo? It seems like the Gold and Savor would overlap a lot, but on the other hand the credits seem appealing if you’re already eating out and using Uber, plus the Amex presales and priority entrance for entertainment/sports is something there doesn’t seem to be a parallel for with CO.
