So my TPD was rejected because my doctor didn’t CIRCLE yes on one question, but he DID answer the question it was asking (specifically question #3 in the form) that asks if my condition is likely to result in death… he wrote down “to be determined, likely”. I feel like that *IS* answering the question. And the REAL kicker is that StudentAid’s official document with the rejection said he didn’t answer question #2 *WHICH HE CLEARLY CIRCLED!!!*
So my question becomes, what do I do? He doesn’t seem to be doing office visits anymore, as I had to make an appointment with him to even get the paperwork filled out in the first place, as my hospital has made it almost impossible to get *MY* paperwork in front of him, they keep wanting to use their own form, which StudentAid wouldn’t accept, even though it should fall under the “medical certification by a doctor” sub-category of documentation… so I went and basically begged him directly to fill it out, which he did. I’d circle it myself, except it says that all changes have to be signed for 😩
I’m seriously at a loss on how to handle this, and I’ve only got like 60-90 days to get it sorted. Any help is WILDLY appreciated.
TPD was rejected for the dumbest reason, what to do?

That’s absolutely maddening – they rejected it for not circling something when he literally answered in the question, and then they can’t even read which question he actually did circle? The bureaucracy around TPD is just brutal.
Since changes need to be signed anyway, maybe try calling the doctor’s office and explaining the situation – sometimes they’ll let you bring in the form with just that one circle added and he can initial it without full appointment. Worth shot since you’re working with tight deadline and he already filled out most of it.
Maybe ask the office for his work email
