I had a fire in my condo back in September. Within a couple of weeks the restoration company had my couch steam cleaned and then stored in their facility until repairs were finished. Then back in March they delivered my couch ( kept it fully covered) and it was stored in my garage until April. Then I moved into my new place and finally unwrapped the couch.
To me the couch feels oily. When I take a paper towel and wipe the right side of the couch ( not the left) it comes off grey. Then I found these little black particles between the cushions.
Insurance is adamant that this is not fire related. I'm just wondering what the heck these particles could be then.
