Fidelity: “Don’t hodl leveraged ETFs overnight. It’s… dangerous.”

WSB: “Fidelity’s warning is more what you’d call ‘guidelines’ than an actual warning.”

In April of 2025 when Trump was tanking the market with tariff talk, I pulled out of my SPY position to get into something much much more aggressive to make the loss back. Careful with SOXL though. As a guy in Semi’s for 20 years. It cycles hard. You take your wins. Let it drop hard and buy leaps. Rinse and repeat.

One thing is guaranteed with it. It will drop hard. But it will always go up eventually. Like your wife’s boyfriend.

    4. Yeah I always sell my LEAPS before the day ends to protect myself from overnight theta.  Thats sarcasm.
