Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to the credit card game, and I’m just trying to get some advice as to where I should go from here.
I currently have:
Lowe’s Card (4y 11m)
Exxon Mobile (2y 2m)
Capital One Quicksilver (2y 1 mo)
Amazon Prime Visa (0m)
I’ve basically renovated my entire house and will do so to the next one, so the Lowe’s card I would like to keep, especially since I have the longest history.
Exxon Mobile I have for the 12c off a gallon, as my vehicles take premium.
Capital One… ehh, poor choice imho, but I don’t want to lose the credit age.
Amazon was a no brainer for me when I saw the rewards. Outside of groceries, I shop almost exclusively at Amazon.
A card I was eyeing was the Walmart OneCash. I do ALL of my grocery shopping at Walmart, so it seems as though it could be very beneficial for me, especially since the 1.5% on everything matches my Quicksilver, for things that aren’t covered under the 2% from Prime.
Am I on the right track with this, or am I completely off base? I don’t want to make another poor choice like I did with the capital one card.
Under 5 years of credit, trying to figure out which cards to keep/get.
