I’m finally looking to pull the trigger on the Amex Gold, but the "standard" 60k offer feels like I'm leaving money on the table. I've seen people mention a 100k targeted offer—is that still floating around, or is it a myth at this point? (I've also got a friend's referral link available that I've heard is a good way to get the max offer.

For those who have it, how are you liking it?

    Pros I'm seeing:

    • 4x on groceries and dining is basically my entire budget.
    • The $120 Uber and $120 dining credits seem easy enough to use if you already order takeout.
    • White gold/Rose gold options look clean.

    Cons/Hesitations:

    • $325 annual fee is a jump from what it used to be. (currently 60/yr for 3% on everything, RH Gold)
    • Dunkin' and Resy credits feel a bit forced to justify the fee.
    • Amex "coupon book" vibes—you really have to stay on top of the monthly credits to break even.

How to actually find the 100k offer?
I've tried refreshing in Incognito and checking the Amex site directly, but no luck yet. Are people finding these through referral links or third-party tools like CardMatch?

Let me know if I should hold out for the 100k or if there's better options? Thanks!

Anyone actually getting the 100k Amex Gold offer lately? Is it worth it?

    1. Its the best current offer out there. I had the one that was 100k + $500 in statement dining credits, that was a blast.

I have heard most find 100k SUBs through links. I unfortunately do not have links or sites to guide you to but im sure someone will chime in with credible ones

Set to incognito and go thru the r/amex referral thread – maybe you’ll find 100k and make someone’s day

I’m seeing “as high as 100,000” points on WalletHub. Amex has been cagey about bonus offers recently. They’re trying to personalize more.

I have a Amex gold card and got the 100k offer 7 months ago. It’s definitely worth it to wait for 20k more points that’s 200 bucks if you value at 1 cpp.

If you open the Amex blue card everyday they’ll eventually send you a targeted 100k offer.

The resy credit is really easy to use if you live near resy restaurants.

Dunkin credit is just put the card on your girlfriend’s Dunkin app. You can also load it onto the app once a month and it’ll stack

10 dollar a month dining credit is just 5 guys once a month.

And the Uber eats credit is used for pickup orders on restaurants doing a buy one get one free. Chipotle also doesn’t jack up their prices but you’ll get screwed on the serving size.

You can play the coupon game book a few flights for free or cash the points out and then cancel the card after a year.

I probably wont keep the card after the first year but I’m using the credits and with the 100k in points and my chase churning I’ve booked a few vacations with hyatt and plane rides with Amex.

Make sure to check the gas price for flights sometimes it’s cheaper to just pay cash.

The Resy credit is my favorite one! Easy to use and wonderful. As for Dunkin, I just load $7 a month on the app on my phone and it covers. Then, I’ll drop by Dunkin and buy beans to use in my machine at home.

I have both the Gold and Plat… Considering dumping my gold after this year, when the annual fee comes up in August. It’s definitely a workhorse when it comes to earning MR’s… But I’m a bigger UR person than MRs (for United), and want to cycle to the Quest for a year for the sub and basically equivalent AF.

Otherwise, I would keep the Gold. The credits are fun and I love 4x MR’s on groceries. For the dining credit, I use Grubhub and pick up my order

Yup. Had to use incognito window on chrome and used a referal link from the points guy and first crack 100k offer (spend $6k in 6 mo). When I tried not in incognito it gave me shit offer lol
