I currently own a 1990 JDM car. I currently pay $2200 a year on comprehensive coverage as my main vehicle. I am looking to purchase a daily driver to save on mileage, gas, and insurance costs. If I purchase a classic car policy from Hagerty or similar company with actual value comprehensive coverage on it, I am quoted at $90 a month with 100k/300k liability coverage.

I don’t believe I want any collision on a cheap daily driver, as I am looking at a $5k price range, I have my classic as a temp backup, and I am fully medically covered under Tricare.

If I purchase one police under the classic, is there a way to combine liability coverage only to the two cars without significant price increase, so I only have comprehensive on my classic and not on my daily?

When I try to add the other car on online tools, it forces me to do comprehensive on both or just liability on both, with no option to mix.

How to combine liability coverage for classic car and daily driver?
