What do you guys think of Burry saying the market today feels like ‘the last months of the 1999-2000 bubble’?

Currently the Nasdaq-100 forward P/E hit \~60x in the dot com bubble. The current forward P/E ratio for the Nasdaq 100 Index is approximately 23.8x

I think “feels” are worth about as much as the air they’re farted into.

    2. A much more important indicator is when you keep seeing random new people talking about stocks and investing, usually what happens before a crash as the economy is so bad, people think gambling is their only chance to escape.

We had plenty of “I am new here, looking to invest my money” posts in multiple stock related subs.

    3. I think you need to read up on the history of Burry. He’s been talking about bubbles and crashes religiously for25 years. He’s a smart dude and made a killing during a crash but I wouldn’t look to him for advice or information on what may or may not happen.
