Mid sized oil refinery exploded in NOLA yesterday, Cause is still unknown. Not a major refinery. Expect oil prices to be volatile.

WTI goes down somehow. It is obvious what is happening. Prepare for the summer energy lockdowns.
Maybe they’re running at a capacity that they are not used to running, and tried to bring some old / isolated equipment online but some isolation valves failed years ago or something creating an explosive environment.
Do these explosions actually happen regularly are are Americans just more inept recently?
