What he will not tell you is that 6 or 7 T per year still has to get spent. If it doesn’t a huge % of Americans have no living funds after they all out of the workforce due to age and many no Healthcare.
This more of a discussion on whether that spending will move to private business where a % gets shaved off for profit.

Technically, they are entitlements. The issue is, as they usually do, conservatives have distorted the meaning of the word “entitlement” as if it were something bad, turning it into derogatory word. A person contributing to a program is entitled to the benefits (although, non-citizens contribute but are not entitled to most of these, so they are being leached off).
Think about it this way… people buy insurance policies. And they are entitled to benefits of it. But, leave it to conservatives to claim entitlement is bad.

Can some journalist with an ounce of professionalism ask him why his companies deserve billions of tax breaks and incentives, but the people of this country who paid into social security dont deserve to get their money back? This is insanity. We need to end the billionaire class. They are malignant cancer that needs to be excised.
