Our lead broker is trying to shake things up and figure out ways to churn more inventory so he sent a few of us to this seminar he saw online where we could learn to be a "Master Closer" and hopefully it would give us that extra edge when working our deals.

Well the only thing that closed was our office for the day because it was a complete waste of time. They spent the first hour or so spraying water on everyone (in a conference center) and then some guy named Adam Elliot came out and yelled at everyone for being "Cucks who don't sell too good" and that was pretty much how the rest of the day went. The tickets were supposed to be $2900 but at the end of the day the energizers said there was going to be a $500 each additional charge because of how much more water they had to use to "get us right" that they weren't going to get their deposit from the hotel back and everyone there had to cover it.

Anyone been to one of those "Master Closer" seminars?

sounds like the standard real estate seminar…these have been common since the 1960’s.

    2. Why on earth would anyone pay them an additional $500 that they don’t request until the end of the seminar?

Were they locking the doors and not letting you out until you paid up? Did they have a gun to everyone’s head? I just don’t understand it.
