Medi-Cal Behavioral Health Student Loan Repayment Program

Has anyone with an Entry-Level MSN / pre-licensure MSN been approved for the HCAI Medi-Cal Behavioral Health Student Loan Repayment Program (MBH-SLRP)?

My situation:
– Bachelor’s degree was originally in Biology
– Career change into nursing
– Completed an Entry-Level MSN program designed for non-nurses
– I was NOT an RN before entering the program
– The MSN program was my initial nursing education pathway and directly led to my RN license
– Currently work in a County Behavioral Health / safety-net setting

I know traditional post-RN MSN degrees are considered advanced education, but my loans were incurred during the program that led to my initial RN licensure.

Trying to see if anyone with a similar pathway has:
– been approved,
– been denied,
– or had to provide additional clarification/documentation.
