AMEX blue cash everyday rewards card.

I keep getting letters in the mail pre-approving me for this card with a 200 dollars bonus once I spend 2000 in 6 months. This card seems pretty nice and i'm thinking of getting it.

My question is, once I get the card (assuming I get approved for it) will AMEX charge me for making an account? Many banks charge a monthly fee just for simply having an account.

For example BoA charges around 12 bucks if you don't have a direct deposit or have 1500+ dollars on your account.

I already bank with BoA this is my main and only bank and I already have two credit cards with them. This is why i'm curious if AMEX will charge me a monthly fee for the account, since i'm not planning on switching banks or setting any forms of direct deposits on my AMEX account.

I simply want the AMEX account to maintain the Blue Cash Everyday credit card (makes payments use rewards etc etc).
