As the title says Saturday evening I was going down a main road when I came to an intersection with stops signs on both sides of the road (but not on mine) a guy flew down one rode and ran the stop sign and jumped out right in front of me trying to cut across to the other. I barely had time to brake before our vehicles collided. My car is not drivable and the front end is completely smashed in. I filed a claim with my insurance and did a third party claim for the other person’s. My job relies on me to drive from job site to job site, so I need to get into a vehicle immediately. How do I go about requesting a rental car? There was nothing on the third party claim for me to request one.

Car is totaled, first time ever being in accident how do I go about getting a rental?

The other person’s insurance won’t offer you a rental car until they made sure coverage is In order and made a liability decision.

If it’s time sensitive it’s best to file first party
