Hey everyone, I need some help figuring out how to get my NC driver's license before my California license expires in 2 months.
Here is my situation:
- I moved to NC (Raleigh) and plan to stay for the next 1-2 years for work
- My CA license expires in 2 months so I need to act fast
- I drive almost every day for work
- I drive my mother in law's car and I am listed on her insurance, but the policy is issued in another state so I was told that won't work for the NC DL-123 form. I personally do not own a car.
From what I understand I need to get a DL-123 form from an NC insurance company to transfer my license. The problem is every time I try Progressive and State Farm online they don't seem to offer non-owner insurance policies anymore. Really stressed about this since I need my license for work. Any help is appreciated!
