Investment tracking app with TWR (Allinvestview)

    Hi,

Has anyone used Allinvestview for portfolio tracking ? It seems to have what I need but idk how much I can trust the maths of the returns it's showing me. I deposit in my portfolio monthly so I need something that accounts for this as my main aim is to see if it's worth it to continue picking my own stocks or just invest an index.

    Thank you

Need investment tracking app with TWR (Allinvestview?)

If your main goal is to compare your stock picking performance against an index, TWR is exactly the right metric because it removes the impact of your monthly deposits.

AllInvestView does appear to support both TWR and MWR/IRR, and several investors on Reddit mention using it specifically for that reason. The feature is also documented in their help center. ([AllInvestView](https://www.allinvestview.com/help/?utm_source=chatgpt.com))

That said, I’d still sanity-check the numbers by comparing a few periods against your broker statements or a simple spreadsheet. If the returns line up, that’s usually enough to trust the calculations.

Other good alternatives are Sharesight, Snowball Analytics, and the free open-source [Portfolio Performance](https://www.portfolio-performance.info/en/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) if you don’t mind a steeper learning curve.

Personally, if you want a clean interface and both TWR and IRR, AllInvestView looks like a solid option.
