My thesis on being bullish on Reddit is simple:
    1) None of us are going anywhere

    2) There is significant expansion opportunities for advertising

    3) It's market cap is 30b, which does not feel right (I know this sounds stupid, but it's true)

    4) Reddit is no longer only used by weird internet people, a lot of normal people are beginning to use the platform

All I care about is scalability, and I think Reddit is positioned extremely well to expand its user count and advertising landscape.

I come to Reddit daily because it's one of the few places that I can discuss certain topics with others, and I can't foresee this "communal" value being replaced by another platform in the near future.

RDDT is one of the best buys atm

Reddit is only used by weird internet ppl, but weird internet people are everywhere now

    2. Also any time users use AI for general questions which is like majority of regular users, Reddit is almost always in there as a reference.

Last earnings were great. Why the deep drop the last six months?

If all Reddit was like WSB it would be great but all of those others mofos take themselves way too seriously.

I still love those whiny bitches

Brother, the second there is a better alternative to the echo chamber fucking losers, I am gone.

    6. Reddit is straight up dogshit, have you ever used it, or met the people who do? Fuck that

ive been saying the same thing. reddit is severely undervalued right now. a significant portion of their profit is not from ad revenue, its from selling access to AI companies to allow them to use them as a source of dataset to model their large language models, and in most of the subs you tend to have experts in fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc. there was a huge stink a while back when reddit made access to their API through a subscription when it used to be free. they did that so they can sell subscriptions to AI companies. reddit will always beat earnings

Talking about “ad expansion opportunities” on the platform you are talking about is like saying “there’s plenty more room for feces in MY car.”

    9. My mom told me she has been looking at reddit lately and is a fan. Downloaded the app lol. I went all in

This platform is ass. The main subs all have mods that ban for dumbass reasons.

Bruh, they’re only the 5th most visited website on the planet. No way anyone can monetize something that /s

My understanding from reading reddit is that it’s never going up and nobody knows why.

It’s been sad watching everything else rip the last couple months, I have a big portion of my brokerage and am seeing this being a big data supplier to anthropic, google and OpenAI. Data deals will come out in the next year or two and I think we haven’t yet seen how much the internet is relying on Reddit

Wait. I sold some calls below my cost basis. Don’t all go buying at once

RDDT is for weird internet people, and congratulations, we’re all weird internet people now.

    16. Don’t tell me what to buy bag holder! (As I write on the stock you own).

    17. 1. People said the same thing about MySpace or Facebook

      2. I’m sceptical about advertising being sustainable or even a good idea.

      3. That’s just like your opinion, man.

      4. Normal people do not exist.

Ultimately, Reddit going public will likely one day be identified as the first step in the fall of Reddit in the post-mortem.

    18. I use Reddit daily and I keep seeing more and more ai slop, as soon as someone comes up with a no ai platform I’m jumping over
