My sewer line broke and because I wanted things to go smoothly, I went with a plumbing company on my insurance company's preferred list.
The plumber quoted me $10k but submitted a bill to insurance for $15k. The invoice is seriously inflated, over charging labour certainly, and other items, probably.
I still need to get the area cleaned, it's still foul-smelling.
What are my next steps?

Call your adjuster, and ask them.
