horrible chase branch experience

I just went into my local Chase branch to talk about applying for the Reserve. The lady I was paired with had no idea that even though I have a preferred card , applying for the reserve is considered a different process and that I should be eligible for the bonus. She kept emphasizing that I was not guaranteed the bonus and tried to steer the conversation toward me getting a United card. So so weird!

I asked about in branch perks and she looked at me like I was crazy. When I brought up my friends experiences that I’ve heard them get extra perks or help in branch, she specified that unless I know my friends exact financial situation then that doesn’t really apply to me at all. Overall it was so weird and she called the chase line so I could talk to some representative on the phone which I could’ve done at home lol so not sure what that was about. Anyway that was the first and last time I’m trying that! And now I don’t even wanna apply for this stupid card
