I've taken small bets here and there but this was my first large (for me) move with strong conviction. Bought first in January and then full ported my Roth in March right after earnings. Held all the way down to $10k in my Roth and sold today for $350k realized. The other $150k is in my taxable.

I still think MU is going to $1000 before EOY and will look to reentry in the next week or two. The rest will go into SIMO 9/18 $340 C.

Damn that’s some serious diamond hands holding through a 97% drawdown. Most people would’ve panic sold way before hitting 10k but you rode it all the way back up.

I remember looking at MU back in March and thinking it was already too high at those levels but clearly I was wrong about timing. The semiconductor play has been wild this year and you caught it perfectly with conviction when everyone else was doubting.

$1000 EOY seems aggressive but then again I thought $150 was aggressive few months ago so what do I know. Just make sure you don’t give it all back on the next play – seen too many people hit big then lose everything trying to recreate the magic immediately after.

Good for you taking some profits though instead of holding everything like a true degenerate

Can someone answer about the taxes please? Many people are taking short term gains from recently pumped stocks like SNDK, AMD, MU, INTC…. These gains are significant (like OPs gain of $500K). Is there a way to save on short term gain taxes?

I’m heavy in mu, sndk, lite and wdc. Believe in the end it will be a great decision.

    4. Idk why, but I sold at like $575 for some reason. Right before it shot up. I thought I would let everyone else win instead of me dragging it down
