    1. Yeah, but Elon is on track to be a trillionaire, and stonks are still near all-time highs, so I really don’t see what the problem is. /s

      Just don’t ask the rich to give a damn, because that hurts their poor, precious, feelings.

      A huge percentage of highly educated Americans have convinced themselves there is no financial crisis in the USA and those of us who believe that are being duped by social media and buying into mass hysteria. Many of those on the upper part of the K shaped economy genuinely don’t understand what this economy is like for the majority. 

      I don’t expect any substantial reform until they start feeling pain, too. They’re the ones who dominate culture and media and politics, so until the upper middle class cares I don’t believe anything is going to happen. 

      It is amazing to me how often I end up in debates with highly educated and informed people about how terrible the economy is. They refuse to believe it.
