Looking for the best benefits card to open for upcoming wedding expenses. I recognize most vendors charge a fee that offsets any benefit, but for my venue specifically, I would like to use a CC as there is no fee, and will incur a cost near $30k. We are not loyal to specific chains/brands for travel, and have no experience with points. My personal opinion on point-based travel cards is that I prioritize the ease of cash-back cards, though with the large one-time purchase and upcoming honeymoon I would be far more willing to do a bit of legwork on point juggling if the incentive is good. Looking for tips what cards might be best fit in my case, the wedding is around June 2027, and honeymoon soon after.

With that big of a purchase you definitely want something with massive signup bonus – check cards that need like 15k spend in first 3 months since you’ll hit it easy 💀 just make sure you can actually pay it off right away like you said or the interest will eat any benefits alive 😂
Amex biz plat if you can pull a 250k-300k point offer is probably going to be the best, depending on other spend could stack a biz gold if you can get a big offer. Use what credits you can the first year and then just downgrade or cancel to get year 2 fee refunded.
