can anyone recommend me any places to get gap insurance ? like three places i called that don’t offer gap and i really don’t want to do it through the dealership

Get it from your insurance, it’s cheaper anyway. They’re paying to fix your car, if they declare in totaled, then they also pay the gap.
Otherwise you’ll be filing a gap claim with another insurance company and they may have different ideas of what your car is worth.
Not all insurance companies offer GAP and ones that do, might not in all states. Some offer it under a different name like “new vehicle replacement” coverage, but the vehicle would have to qualify. What you’re looking for is standalone GAP coverage, try googling that, but there aren’t a ton of companies offering it.
