Took these AVEX calls yesterday. Nice quick move, locked profit, moved on.
What’s crazy is a year ago I probably would’ve turned this into a losing trade somehow.
Either I’d average up too hard, hold too long waiting for a “runner,” or revenge trade the second it pulled back.
Took me way too long to realize this:
A lot of option traders don’t actually have a strategy problem.
They have a patience problem.
Now if volume looks weak, I stay out.
If momentum dies, I trim.
If I catch a clean move, I pay myself instead of fantasizing about 300%.
Funny enough, once I stopped trying to make life changing money every single trade… my account started growing faster.
0DTE and short dated calls got way easier once I stopped trading emotionally.
Curious how many people here became more profitable after trading LESS instead of more.
