I see a lot of people justify a bad loan by saying they will just refinance later. Maybe they will, maybe they will not. Rates might be worse, income might be lower than expected, credit might not be strong enough, or life might happen. I’d rather see people shop harder upfront than assume a future refinance fixes everything.
Hot take: “I’ll refinance later” is not a student loan strategy

What are you calling a lot? Over 90% of student loan debt is federal
Shop harder? Most student loans are federal.
Are you a bot that doesn’t understand America’s student loan system? Seems like you don’t.
Yeah, I’d rather compare options before signing. Juno is one tool I’d check for private loans because it can give you access to negotiated lender offers, but I’d still compare it against direct lender quotes.
I’ve seen a lot of people not live life because conditions are not perfect. Guess what they never are. At least they have good intentions and are going for it.
“Eventually I’ll die” is a strategy though.
When it’s easier to invest in and hope for a revolution than to pay off your student loans, gotta ask what went wrong.
