I can get a home auto umbrella bundle through Cincinnati— as currently have-but they just had some massive increases on auto, which was surprising seeing most others were flat or small increase generally.
I can save around $1100 a year if I kept home through them, but went to RLI for umbrella and Progressive direct for auto. All exact same coverage limits.
I can afford bundling if it truly makes sense — but also hate throwing money away if there are no major issues with splitting.
Is there a true benefit to bundle? I can imagine it could challenging for three separate companies to be involved in a claim….but realistically how could you have one event that includes your house, autos and umbrellas at same time?
