Hey, this is a simple request, but something I’ve been struggling with for years.
I have a small IT firm. We’ve delivered around 50 projects in last 7 years.
Over the years, I’ve primarily handled sales by going to networking events, connecting with people locally on LinkedIn, and getting referrals.
The issue is that I’m starting to get tired of this, and I want to delegate it to someone else or find another solution, I want to focus on the products and outcomes again not constantly chasing.
I tried hiring two salespeople, but they were a complete failure — no sales after 6 months. I’m not sure if it was my fault or theirs.
Does anyone have experience with this?

you’ve closed 50 projects yourself, so there’s definitely a working formula. when you look back at those deals, what was the one thing that usually made a prospect say yes? was it the type of event? the specific referral source? or something they were already struggling with before you showed up? might be the detail the salespeople couldn’t replicate because it was invisible to them.
