I mean even if it could, is a missile attack the most likely threat to our country right now? I feel like there are much better places we could spend a trillion dollars.
Stopping one nuke is worth $1.2T
Nothing could stop an all-out attack from Russia with the size of their arsenal, but the likelihood of attack comes from an off-the-chain nation like NK. Anything to keep the damage down is worth the price 10x over
