Flights and hotels are so expensive now that I started looking at all my normal spending differently. The biggest bills I pay every month do not really help me earn anything back which feels kind of frustrating when those are by far my largest expenses
I use my card for food gas and random small stuff and get points from that but it doesn't adds up to anything and I'm just trying to find smarter ways to make the money I already spend work for me. Even one or two flights covered would make spring break less stressful financially
If anyone has any suggestions or any type of system PLS help me out
Trying to fund spring break. Any help?

Travel got so expensive that I started paying way more attention to how I handle monthly payments. It’s kind of frustrating when the largest bills contribute the least toward rewards or flexibility
The worst part is you can optimize all the small purchases pretty easily but the major expenses are where the money disappears
Spend less save more basically
Spring break costs stack up fast now especially once flights and hotels stack together. I don’t think your thinking is wrong at all it makes sense to want your normal spending to work a little harder for you
