    1. Today is the last day for trading but It expires/settles at the open on 15 May.

    2. Guessing you are using Interactive Brokers? They show May 14th as the date for SPX AM options that expire based on the opening May 15th, as May 14th is the last trading day.

You will have to sweat it out until tomorrow morning. Settlement is based on the opening price of each of the SP500 stocks on May 15th.

    3. SPX AM expiry options are settled with the Official Opening Price (symbol = SET) on Friday.
Take some Rolaids while you wait.

    4. The AM SPX options always expire on the morning of the monthly contract. The settlement price is based on the value of the SPX using each stock’s opening price.

Since not all shares will trade at 9:30:00 AM, the settlement price is NOT the SPX opening price and may take several minutes for the CBOE to determine the value.

The symbol you can check is SOQ or SET.
