Sharing two skincare tricks that have saved me quite a bit. To use as moisturizer, in August 2026 I bought 1 pound of raw shea butter from Etsy for $17 (item was $9.99, rest was shipping and fees) and I'm still not done with it. I've also switched to buying from Trader Joes a Dr. Bronner's soap or a tea-tree face wash (I bought one each to compare and now switch between; mostly use Dr. Bronner's for traveling by cutting small chunks out. Super easy travel with no spill risk), which are only around $3-5 in my store. They've also lasted me months.
Downside of the shea butter is it's very sticky, so if you don't like that feeling, it might not be for you. I've heard you can mix it with cornstarch or arrowroot powder to make it less sticky, but I've been too lazy to try. I get compliments all the time now about my skin looking smooth and clear.

You mean August 2025 😅 I do the same. It’s the best thing. You can use any oil though, literally any oil. People have this mental block when it comes to cosmetic grade carrier oils. Unless they’re marketed in small amounts as serums, rarely anyone considers to buy it in bulk😀 oils lubricate skin and you need a very small amount.Â
