Hello & thank you to everyone who commented on the “How do you ensure your team is targeting the ICP” post.
I am a 15+ sales veteran who has trained hundreds of folks around the globe in 15 different industries.
I’ve identified several gaps within the software systems currently used by the vast majority of sales departments which lead to significant time wasted.
The current solution I have to reduce training times by up to 90% works for only certain industries providing reason to the question:
How do you streamline rep onboarding? Reduce their “time to first deal”?
Right now the majority has a “figure it out yourself” or a 6 month ramp time model allowing for the first month to be learning and product knowledge.
So, how do you get this information to them quickly in a digestible format while providing g guidance to closing that first deal quickly?
I’ll go first:
Identify the ICP
provide a solid set of leads
Examples of best practices
Role play
And my favorite: a battle card for training and live calls.
Best practices: How do you streamline rep onboarding?
